2nd again! :)
Say I love you when you're not listening,
How long, can we keep this up, up, up?
Our song isn't really a love song. It didn't happen instantly. I started off liking him when we were young, but he was too young to understand. To immature to see his best friend as anything more than a friend. When we grew up I moved on only to get my heart broken over and over again. He was my shoulder to cry on, but not even realizing it our roles had reversed. The longing looks and hints he gave were all there, but I ignored them. I was afraid to mess up what we had. What if my heart would be broken again? Who's shoulder would I cry on then?
Please don't stand so close to me
I'm having trouble breathing.
I'm afraid of what you'll see, right now.
And I keep waiting
For you to take me
And you keep waiting
To save what we had.
I'll give you everything I am,
All my broken heartbeats.
Until I know you'll understand
And I will make sure to keep my distance,
Say I love you when you're not listening,
How long, can we keep this up, up, up?
Then one day my heart was shattered into thousand little peices and he came to put my heart back together again. He stood there hiding a bouquet of roses behind his back. I said "What do you want Arnie?" and he told me all he wanted was to see me smile. So I did and I realize I can't keep running away....
Make sure to keep my distance,
Say I love you when you're not listening,
How long, 'til we call this love, love, love?

I really like that you took sort of a different direction with this, and brought us back to a time when their story wasn't exactly a love story. I think the song you chose was perfect for the scenario of a friendship that slowly blossomed into something more. Your story was great, and I really felt what Maggie felt, and by the end I "aww"ed out loud. As far as picture quality, I thought it was great. The poses here are perfect, especially Arnie's sheepish stance while he's holding the roses behind his back. Your background is great, too; while it is a simple setting, you've added enough details to it to give Maggie's house some visual interest. I especially like the bike in the background- I like to think Arnie rode it there.
I was kinda nervous about this one. Didn't think I would score as high as I did, so I'm quite happy with the results. I wanted to do something not so lovely dovey and just different. I build the house behind her and the yard next door. Lucked up and found a good pose for Arnie. I was going have Maggie sitting directly on the steps, but it worked out like I wanted anyway. I also thought about using another song shortly afterward and re-doing my pic, but I had turned in already. Maybe it's good I didn't get to use it. Anyway, my other choice in song would of been Lilly Allen's Who'd have known. ^_^
This looks amazing Vidkid. :)
