I laughed and died inside when I heard this. I'm embarrassed for us. I'm embarrassed for the franchise. WTF?! What the actual F?! Why? 

Sims 4 may be the worse game of the franchise to tell stories b/w. Like even Sims 2 is better for that and more fleshed out. This is so f'ing stupid! Sims is not that serious! Dude literally shedding tears over a sims funeral. lol I can't. 

P.S. I hope to almighty this crap is not viewed by my family and they start to think I'm one of these weirdos who takes it this seriously. I know it's mostly acting, but geez! Dramatic much?

But TBH, if they wanted to give me $10,000 to make up some bullshit story using a game I would consider it. I need the cash. xD

The Sim Community. Let Us Not Forget. Let's hold racist simmers accountable. (My Final Post On This)

This was not planned, but recent real-world events have me exploring my feelings as a black simmer and contributor to the community.

About 4 years ago I got in a war of words with a very popular sim/gossip blog called The Mares Nest. It was over a person who I called a friend and another person who I believe to be a trouble maker. We disagreed on the manner, but it somehow evolved into a war of words over Black Lives Matter. This led them to post this:

Do they still feel this way? I wonder. Anyway, a dearly departed friend asked me to stop replying and I did. Part of me regrets doing that. Part of me has felt dismayed ever since. But I also noticed the deafening silence from some people. I noticed some people still have this blog featured on their blog rolls. Even after they said I deserved a punch in the mouth.

Simblr is in-danger of dying thanks to Tumblr (Just some added thoughts)

So far I've only had one DOA/zombie post approved, but the few that are flagged are still pending. A lot of simmers are talking about leaving though due to the new rules, which take effect December 17th. I sorta failed to mention how chaotic things were the day Tumblr surprised everyone with their guidelines. I was sorta busy being pissed about my own predicament. That and I was rushing the previous post with the feels. xD

I truly feel sorry for some Simblrs. Some of the most wholesome Simblrs are being flagged. It's weird. Then when Tumblr gets around to approving the flagged post they put them out of order on the front page. Freaking annoying!

I think violence in regards to stories and fantasy should be allowed obviously. Especially when it comes to pixels. I do get banning things like real pictures of real corpses and animal abuse, but stupid stuff like fantasy creatures and pixels acting out action scenes shouldn't be. They need to make that rule a bit clearer imo.

As for nudity, I think the whole nipple rules are stupid. Especially when shirtless men are being flagged. Like, come on! I do think real life pictures of nudity can go because I personally am not looking for such things when I go to my simblr. You can also go to any porn site if you want porn and nudes, so like I'm cool with that being banned. Now for sims, I think along as the pic is tasteful and not straight up porn then I think it should be allowed. Now I do get tired of seeing sim peen, cc sex toys, and various other eye-opening pics on my dash, so maybe I'm biased. I don't know, but porn comes in many forms and there are definitely some really graphic sim stories out there.

Anyway, if Simblr dies you can blame Tumblr. They should have implemented a better system to get rid of porn bots. They should have pre-warned and simply just ask their users. They also should have focused on getting rid of nazis on the site too. You can't find a single nude pic in search now, but you sure can find nazis and white nationalist still on that site. Things that make you say "hmmmmm...."

Anyway, I'll stick around and watch the mess with popcorn. See if I can get away with posting my slutty gore still.😜

I'll also post here more because I forgot how nice and freeing it is over here. lol

At this moment, I feel like just deleting my tumblr and calling it day. Most of Simblr ignores me anyway. Even people following me ignore me. Like what's the point of following me?! I don't know why I posted there so long. I think my time in the sim community is coming closer and closer to the end. This sure feels like a sign. I'm not a fan of the simmers that frequent Tumblr anyway. I've met some really great TS4 simmers and some new faces in the TS3 community through it, so it's not everyone. It's just not the same though. Not the same friendly vibe I knew and kept coming back too. Too much clique behavior and high school pettiness.

I feel very unloved right now in the sim community sometimes if you can tell. Very frustrated and ignored. Does anyone even still read this blog? *sigh*

Well, I'll post what I've written for DOA Season 2, see if I still have it in me to play the actual game, and bow out sometime soon. Probably at the beginning of next year.

But meh bye tumblr. Whatever.

TS4 has toddlers. No this is not a drill.

Cute and they seem to be more lively than the TS3 ones. I gotta admit I'm jealous. Damn them for not making this game open world with CASt! I'm happy for ya'll, but why couldn't we get toddlers like this in TS3?! 😒

The Sims & Modeling community on the move?! Possible new forum coming soon!

Attention: Calling All Models, Modelers, & Simmers!

As a result of the latest unfair ban among us.  Some of us in the modeling community have decided to make a forum of our own dedicated to modeling that will allow us to share our art freely without fear of being banned. It will also allow those who were banned unfairly and those who left due to the corruption to rejoin the community.

We did have a forum like this called Unbound for awhile, but it has died out due to a lot issues. We plan to learn from those issues and make a forum everyone in the sims and modeling community can enjoy. If you are interested please post in the thread linked above or leave a comment here. While we're not expecting everybody to abandon the officials we are hoping the majority will at least consider joining and contributing.

As of now we are discussing names, themes, and a format. We want everyone's input on this so we can make a forum everyone can love.

MizoreYukii is running the show and she plans on being an admin/moderator. Beech is also involved! I'm also throwing my hat in. Not sure if I'll get the moderator title or not like those wonderful ladies, but I plan to help as much as I can no matter what. 

Many of the TS4 modeling community seem to be not on board unfortunately. I think that will change after they see the true ways of EA. They have been banning people for years for little to no reasons. You may think this new forum is all sunshine and rainbows, but it's the same old crap ran by the same ol' douches with a shiny new wrapping. Just wait and see the hypocrisy of EA. The same company who let a porn troll post explicit porn on their forums for months on end without ip banning them. God help you all if that happens again! I'm sure they'll delete and ignore just like they did before!

Oh we can't forget the same company won The Worse Company American golden poo award twice in a row! I'm sure they'll win it this year! I'm rooting for them!

But plz do educate yourself with the Mare's Nest. You'll learn a lot. EA didn't ban their link and name on the forums for nothing. ;)
