X-mas was ok but bah humbug!

Never really got into the X-mas mood this year. Sick of Covid. Sick of being on lockdown. Sick to the death of idiots not wearing masks. Sick of politics. Sick of having to budget and think about money. Sick of everything. I didn't even listen to X-mas music.

I did get Paper Mario and the Destroy All Humans Remake for Xmas. Played a bit of Paper Mario but the puzzle combat system got on my nerves and I didn't have the patience at the time, so I switch to Destroy All Humans. Sort of fitting for my feelings for 2020. Destroying shit and killing pixelated humans is quite fun tho. I played the original as a teen and never beat it. Ready to beat it this time. 

I also got some extra spending money on the Switch and PS4. Brought the new fighter pack for Mortal Kombat with Rambo and played that with dad. Hope they add Bruce Campbell/Ashy Slashy next.

Anyway, I hope your X-mas went well. 🎄 New Year is next I guess. 2021 will probably be as disappointing and as bad as 2020 tho. (I know I'm so cheery ain't I?) Meh.

I made all four poses last minute. The whole thing was last minute as I spent most that weekend ill. I can't believe I did such intricate poses in such a short time though. They turned out looking pretty good. They aren't that racy though, but I prefer to be safe than sorry. Hence the censor. I've had someone rant at me for far less in the past. xD I may release these poses once I fix some minor issues. As for the idea, I had no ideas and I somehow came up with this. I guess you can say I was inspired by old greek paintings. I'm a sucker for period photos.

This was not my original idea. I wanted to do something romantic with the robot and creator trope, but I ended up here with an evil robot. Couldn't really find a good laboratory background, so I just settled with this. I think it's still cool though. I made both poses, edited the screens in the background, and tweak the light a bunch. It was actually pretty hard to pull it all off. 😅

This got cut short, so this was the last round. My next post will feature my final scores.

Was inspired by an Afrocentric art I saw when I was googling mother nature images earlier in the competition. At first, I had a bunch of flowers in her tree hair, but then it started looking like a bush. Not a hair bush, but a shrubbery bush (LOL), so I toned it down and left just a few small red flowers in for color. Bird, limbs, butterflies were just me messing around to add color and to give it an extra something. I tried to keep it from looking too crowded tho. I also did not make the pose for this one. Was a relief to get a break from making poses. Anyway, this is totally going in my top ten edits in my head. Probably one of the best things I've made in a while.

Next round has us doing robots.

I wanted to do a pin-up version of an alien with a space helmet, but none of the space/sci-fi helmets available fit my idea and such cc is non-existent. Also finding a spaceship background was annoying. So I basically settled for this. Has a slight pin-up flair sort of. A pin-up that has face-eating worms. Yep, sounds about right. 

Next round had us making our models into trees. My tree was a little late, but it bloomed earlier than usual, and its what I envisioned for once!

I spent most of the afternoon crying. I just sat there wiping tears and sniffling the whole time. I expected Vince to come through the door at any moment. I imagined we would both apologize and laugh it off like usual. We hadn't exactly fought like this before, but we couldn't stay mad at each other. We just couldn't, could we? I waited and waited, but he never came back. I laid back and closed my puffy tear-filled eyes just for a moment, but slipped into the peacefulness of sleep. There I was transported into nonsensical dreams and flashes of familiar faces making cameos in them.

I looked at Gemma. My mind was racing. My breathing labored. My katana pointed at her. I don't know when or how I escaped her sickening embrace, but I did and all I could think about was what she said. Her words repeating back to me in my head over and over again. The images of Vince bleeding from his torso and Grace's lifeless body. The Vultures had done all this? I couldn't wrap my mind around it all, but I felt rage bubbling inside me. All of it aimed at Gemma.

Episode 26: The Garden

I hadn't set foot in the backyard since Grace's funeral. I didn't have the heart to. Seeing her grave among the flowers was too much to bear. I could still see her alive and well kneeling over those very flowers she loved so tenderly. Her smile as bright as the sun. Her voice, soothing and encouraging. Omar seemed to be the only brave soul to venture out there regularly to place flowers on her grave. I guess it kept him going. For me, it was easier just to look away and focus on other pressing manners. Gemma for example.

Her sob story had had a profound effect on her standings in the house. Some had soaked it all up like a bunch of saps, but others like me were still on high alert. Madison had also entrusted me to spy on her, so I did just that. For three weeks. Strangely enough, nothing happened. It was both disheartening and frustrating. There was no way she was telling the truth about anything, but somehow she was able to keep up the act of being sickeningly sweet and innocent. It was annoying, but I kept my cool. What really set me off was what I saw in the backyard one fine morning. I went to the window in the hallway to look out and saw someone tending to the flowers. A certain redhead. Gemma!

Episode 25: You’re Just Like Him

One night watching Gemma was enough to ruin someone’s sleep for a week. I could still feel her clammy hands on my face. Her breath tickling my chin. The crazed look in her eye alone still haunted me. I remind her of her boyfriend? What on earth? Man, she’s creepy.

I settled into the lazyboy chair in the living room and closed my eyes. I had tried to get a nap earlier in the day in Aaron’s room, but Gemma had even ruined that. Locking herself in the bathroom like some maniac. What did she call herself doing in there? I looked over at Gemma sitting on the couch fluffing her pillow in prep for bedtime. “I’ll have to keep a better eye on her,” I thought, but for now Wade and Omar would be on watch tonight. Wade watching the front and Omar watching the back. Would that be enough?

I yawned and slowly drifted off to sleep. My body giving up the fight. My thoughts and troubles fading into a blur. My stinging eyes finally resting. As I felt myself growing heavier and my mind descending into the gloom of slumber, I heard something. Laughter? Voices? I felt myself awakening. My mind back alert. I sprung up and my eyes opened. I looked over to see Gemma not on the couch anymore, but standing in the doorway of the living room. Her slender body leaning on the door frame. A giant grin on her face shortly followed by a roar of laughter.

Post Birthday- Mission Birthday A success!

Well, it wasn't entirely perfect but I ended the day happy and content. Sometimes my birthday doesn't always end that way. I've had some crappy ones and some boring ones. Getting older sucks sometimes.😓 Anyway, I ended up getting Animal Crossing for Switch, money for Mortal Kombat DLC, money for Pokemon Sword DLC, and a delicious marble birthday cake (my grandmother thought it was yellow, so it was a yummy surprise). I would have liked to dress up and go out to eat, but Corona ani't allowing it. Hopefully, my next birthday I can go without a mask and come home virus free with the fam. TBH, I was wondering if I was even going to get anything for a gift. Money has been tight since the pandemic started. I'm quite grateful to my grandmother and dad for making my day special despite the circumstances. I love them both so much. 😭💗

But I'm totally cheating on Sims with AC right now. See you next month.

Sims 4 may be the worse game of the franchise to tell stories b/w. Like even Sims 2 is better for that and more fleshed out. This is so f'ing stupid! Sims is not that serious! Dude literally shedding tears over a sims funeral. lol I can't. 

P.S. I hope to almighty this crap is not viewed by my family and they start to think I'm one of these weirdos who takes it this seriously. I know it's mostly acting, but geez! Dramatic much?
