...it's ugly. I think the banner makes it worse. I actually like the background for it's scenery, but the banner is hideous! And it all together is bleh. Kill it with fire!!!!
I think the pretty background is meant to distract you from the rest of it. And, to make it even more special, the site barely works at all if you're not in the US.
LOL the background is a good distraction, becuz my eyes are like wtf when I'm trying to read that site. Thank goodness for new glasses coming soon. If that even helps.

I like how the language selector is permanently fixed to the top of the screen so that we can change it as often as we like. Because sometimes, when you've already selected the language you understand, you later find yourself saying, "I'm not satisfied with this..." Now, no matter where I am on the site, I can always see what it would look like through the eyes of someone who can't read French or Portuguese. I don't have to be forced to understand words anymore, like I was on the old site.
I hope that the interns working on the site that day were awarded two $12 Outback gift cards each and used them immediately to award themselves for a job well-done.
It used to be that those of us outside the US could select "English - USA" and get to see the news items, sales, messages, updates (yes - patch info) and all the other things they used to forget to post for other countries. Now even that doesn't work.
they always change it and are never satisfied with their changes, so why don't we go back to the original where you could customise it to your own liking???!!, many simmers miss this, I know I did!

ReplyDeleteI miss the customizations too. They should change it back or at least let us change the backgrounds on our pages. :(
