LG new song Judas *Music rant*

Sorry, but all day I've reading comments under her new song and I swear some people are so delusional. If you said anything negative your a hater. Grrrr....

She needs to stop. Seriously, I was saying meh with Born this way. Now today Judas came out and I actually started comparing this song to Friday as to which is more annoying. The beginning so freaking annoying I cringed! They are so many things I hate about this song. The way she saids Judas, the chorus, the beat...want me to go on? The biggest problem for me and this song is the religious references. I'm not the most religious person and I rarely get offended when it comes to stuff, but when such a serious topic is sung light heartly on a pop record it bothers me. She could of got her point across without putting Jesus in it or anything involving religion. I could maybe get pass all that it if it wasn't such sucky song. Plus again there is only 1 Madonna and it's been done before. The song is just awful and painful!

P.S. I love how itunes puts all the good reviews on the first page. Pfff...
By the way, the song sounds like a bad version of Bad Romance.

  1. Eh. I haven't heard the song yet to be honest but I generally like Lady Gaga. People knock her but she's entertaining IMO.

As for comparing her to Madonna... well I won't comment since I was never into Madonna's music but plenty of artists mimick one another. Look at how many boy bands are now coming back as man bands thanks to Take That ;)

  3. Ah I don't hate her really. I actaully have both her first albums so im kinda a fan. It's the song and the fact she is hyping this up to be the album of the decade that bugs me the hell out me.

I don't mind if she copies Madonna, but lately she's doing it to the point I'm noticing it. I do find her entertaining. I hope the next song is better. So far I may not like the new album.

  6. Hehe, I may have to get back to her on that album. That song made my ears hurt so much so I went into rant mode. xD

  7. Not into Gaga. Only song I can remotely put up with is Telephone, but other than that, she can take a hike with her meat suit.

I like Madonna to an extent...her music moreso than her, so when I heard "Born This Way" I couldn't help but snort and go "Yeah you emulate Madonna all you want, little girl."

But meh, as soon as I hear a religious term or phrase in a song, the channel gets changed cause I simply don't have the patience to listen to someone trying to shove the bible in my ear, or even knocking on the bible.

But I suppose, since music is an art form, people will throw religion into it every now and then, but in the music business, it tends to be risky. You risk losing fans, etc. etc.

  8. Not into Gaga either. Fortunately she's pretty easy to avoid if you listen to the right radio station as she's considered too pop here. (And no, I don't go for easy listening or talkback thanks!)

  9. Yea, the religious topic of the song wasn't needed. I can't help but feel unconfortable when I hear some of the lyrics.

I don't think this will grow on me. Born this way didn't. Her songs are starting to sound the same. I could be completely wrong, but I don't think I will like it as much as her older songs.

B/w Born This Way was Express yourself all the way!

  11. I hear Born This Way everytime I'm out driving. Only three stations here. The modern music that has 80s 90s and new stuff, an oldies station [which I don't mind listening to in the least] and a country station [which I listen to sometimes]. It'll be nice being up there in Washington State, surrounded by cities like Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia, as there will be more than just three friggin radio stations!

  12. I haven't heard the full song yet, but I agree the beginning is extremely annoying. Anubis posted about it, and I closed the tab. It was just...
    O_o *dies*
I too am not a religious-y person, and the fact that my family is a bunch of bible thumpers and that I'm supposed to have my confirmation this year doesn't help. Religion is a serious issue, and for someone like Lady Gaga, who runs around in nothing but her bra and thong most of the time, to be singing about it is just...

  13. @AE Only 3 stations? aw that sucks! How satelite radio? I never tried it, but my father is always talking all the channels it has and wanting it in his car.

@Booky So I'm not the only one who finds it unsettling that she is singing about a religious topic in such a non-serious way. Singing about being in love with Judas with such popish chorus is just so odd and makes me uncomfortable. If the song was more serious and dark, maybe I could get over it. I'm usually very open minded, but the song is just tastless and slightly offensive. Not only that it's still annoying and all over the place for me.

I commented on youtube and it took only a sec for someone to tell me off. xD

  14. To add if she was doing it to make a point it would be fine, but she is doing it for attention. Like you said she should be the last person to sing about religion right now with Easter being so close.

  15. Thank god she is classified as 'pop'. 98Rock and DC101 don't play her! I am not a Gaga fan! I put her in the same category as Britney Spears.....all show and no real talent! JMO!

  16. I usually like Lady GaGa, but like you I also cringed. I was listening to the song with a friend and about 50 seconds into it we looked at each other and said "She sounds like a dying cat!" Disappointment.
