The vet saids she might have this now? A collapse trachea?

The kennel cough is gone, but she still coughs a little. The vet checked her today and came up with that above. She doesn't cough a lot, but I still don't like the sound of that. Sounds kinda scary. Is she going be coughing for the rest of her life? Why do I have such bad luck with dogs?! Well she doesn't cough a lot and she has more medicine now. Hopefully that works. Just worried, tired, and stressed out about it. :(

ReplyDeleteAw thank you Leggokatz. Your comment did make me feel a little better. They did tell me to get a new harness for her, but I don't think it's too serious. She doesn't cough a lot so hopefully she will be alright. :)

A collapsing trachea isn't as bad as it sounds (I work the vet field) it's very rare for it to be a serious issue so don't worry to much, at worst she may not be able to wear a collar anymore....I hope she's better soon and it's nothing more then a lingering case of kennel cough! Hugs for Roxie! <3
