I looked out the window in my room. I could see the backyard from here and my mind instantly went back to that day. That horrible night that Grace Wallace met her end. Her screams still echoing in my mind. Screams of agony. Screams of fear. I had only fallen asleep for a few seconds, but that was all that was needed for me to be too late. Too late to save her. Too late to do anything, but yell for help and watch her helplessly. Out this very window.

“Vince would kill me if he saw me still sitting here like this,” I thought. He had told me to get out and do something today. I must admit I was spending a lot of time moping under the covers these past two days. Barely sleeping, but anchored here by an invisible ball and chain from the sheer trauma of seeing what I saw that night. If I was to ever heal or “move on”, I would have to get up and put one foot after the other. Walk back out into a world where the stuff of nightmares became real. What a hopeless existence.

Inspiration: I needed some scars for my zombie story and there aren’t many choices out there for different skin colors. This was also supposed to be a simblreen gift, but I fail at time management and I’m rusty at making makeup.

So what you getting?
-Only package files included.

-The zip includes the pack with all of them in one nice file. Elder and YA. There are also files with just the single version and gender-specific files for your choosing.

-YA-A and Elders. Teens might come later depending on popularity.

-In the Blush category.

-They are recolorable and can be colored to match any skin tone. Also can be colored to look like blood. Bwhahah! Opacity can also be turned down.

-They have custom thumbnails.

-V1 and V2 female versions differ from the male version slightly because the shape of the scar changed when made for females, so I tweaked them to better match the guys. V1 versions are pretty identical.

-They are not perfect obviously.

-Hope to make another pack. Need the practice. xD

Known Issues: None that I know of. Someone can probably do these better and I honestly encourage it. I also take criticism. Just don’t yell at me, because I’m a sensitive little crab. :P

I truly wrestled with the decision of leaving the house with everyone being in such a state, but I knew DJ needed me for our latest supply run. His mysterious friends were willing to trade for supplies and gas if we could produce some scrap metal, but to get such a thing we would have to visit the junkyard. A dangerous junkyard full of walkers according to Vince.

Last night had been a turning point for me. For the first time in this godforsaken world, I felt truly alone. These people had welcomed me with open arms and now they couldn’t even look me in the eye. My truth and past had made me an outcast. I could hear Audrey laughing now in the kitchen. She was talking to me now thankfully, but how long would that last? How long before the others convinced her I was just some scumbag thief? She fit here. I didn’t. I don’t think anything I could say now could make me fit.

I passed the kitchen and out the now boarded up door that led out to the backyard. I sat down on the steps. Everyone seemed to be inside enjoying breakfast. Pancakes as usual. Unfortunately for me, I wasn’t welcomed. The first thing this morning I was met with looks of disgust and fear as I walked through the hallways upstairs. Wade looked at me as if I was a monster as he exited the bathroom. Aaron immediately closed his door upon seeing me. He looked as if seen a ghost. Then Lin stared at me looking unsure as we locked eyes on the stairs. Then there was Matthew. He truly hated me now. He peered out from the living room watching me with utter contempt on his face.

I still got it! I got a 90 on my research paper!

I know I posted this on tumblr and almost no one gave a fudge (as usual), but I'm going post it here, because it's too awesome not to. It's worth posting a 1000x! I did it!

I'm pretty sure I will never stop talking about it. It's been like a decade since I wrote a paper and I got no help whatsoever, so holy crap! You don't know how happy it made me. I've been in a state of shock for a week now. It makes me want to cry. 😭

Then I called up the school with some questions about my proctored exam and he told me I'm doing really well. He was like you have a 90 average! Well, for now, but 😭

Now if I pass my proctored exam for biology, I may faint and awake sobbing in tears of joy.

Had summer cold. Maybe a sinus infection or respiratory infection to be specific. Still not 100%, but I got things to do man! Ugh!

Just before falling ill, I got a new game and a book. The game is a detective game and you know I like those. The book is Queen of the Dammed, which I never finished. I've been entertaining myself with both as I recover. Thank gawd too, because I would've been miserable and bored as hell. I also got some new tennis shoes and a pretty awesome outfit. All of that were gifts for my birthday.😄

By the way, it's been 100+ degree here. I would have probably been hiding anyway. Temps like that make me miss winter.

Ok, so I'm going slowly start posting again. Along as I'm not feeling too bad.

P.S. I've heard nothing from the vet clinic I interviewed at. I sent two emails and got no response, so I'm pretty sure I don't have the job. *shrugs*
