This was definitely very creative. I really loved the shot you used here and the look in Nora’s eyes is stunningly perfect! She’s intoxicating and that guy is genuinely scared! I’ll say this….is she supposed to be bigger than him? She’s proportionately large. I like the connection with the moon and how you are almost tying in the whole vampire-like thing too. Good job

Vid I love this photo! I love Nora's red eyes and her next victim! This is a strong photo and I love what you came up with for this assignment! Well Done!
I haven't done a completely edited photo like this in awhile. It might show. lol Well I screwed up the proportions a bit, but screw it I got 2nd!!! 2nd on a pic like this is an miracle for me! Plus I needed the practice. :P
The idea for this photo was to show Nora outside her castle doing her thing, but becoming more powerful with the influence of the moon. Like most her victims have to come to her, but on a night like this she can find them within a seconds and suck the life of them by just looking at them. It turned out to be a bit more vampirish than fairy, but I'm going try to bring out her fairy side a bit more if I can. My inspiration for this photo though was Dracula and for some odd reason Brave. I wanted a Scottish feel to it since Redcap fairies are usually located around the borders of Scotland and England.
Anyway the most important part to rant about is the freaking editing! I never combined backgrounds while adding stuff on top of it. I also never manipulated a pose by cutting up and smashing stuff together. I almost felt like a mad scientist. It's like the Frankenstein of photos for me.
I really don't feel like explaining the hellish editing process, so I'll show you what I used.

*phew* I really see why I don't do this type of editing very often. xP
The next assignment is to show her interacting with a human. Aha I kind of did that already you say? Well I got some ideas that will play into her lore more. I just need to think about how I'm going do it.
Ha - poor guy!
ReplyDeleteLove that big moon in the background. And very timely after that big moon a few weeks ago :)
Thank you and yeah it was right on time! I thought about that as I was doing it. :P
