Neither us of felt like planning a big wedding. I think if it was left up to us, we would of just went down to the local court house and got it over with. It was only after our friends decided to take us on a road trip, that we knew that wouldn't be happening. Maggie of course being the spontaneous one was all for it, while I spent most the bumpy ride car sick.
When we did stop, we were in Vegas and I honestly thought this random plan to get hitch was nuts. I did warm up to the idea, but it was only because Maggie seem to be enjoying herself and I did want us to be married. Well after visiting casino after casino, we saw the perfect chapel. It was midnight, but after a few drinks we got the courage to do it and well it just felt right. So after 5 years of dating, we got married by an Elvis impersonator in Vegas. Yeah I blame Maggie for this, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

This picture has so much personality- I love it! I really like the spontaneity of their wedding (it's something that really seems to fit the personality of your couple quite well) and I like that even the picture itself seems like it was candid and unplanned. I love the details you've added to give the setting a Vegas wedding chapel sort of look. And everyone looks great and so full of life! I love that. As we've gotten to know Maggie and Arnie, we've seen that they have no shortage of liveliness, and I love that you've captured that in everything in this picture, from the setting, to the attire and poses (sneakers with a punky white dress! Too cute) to their friends in the background, everything just screams "life." Great job!
Tied for 2nd, as it's only 3 of us left! I was pretty happy about all the positive comments I got this round though. This was a last min idea that came to me in a song. A song from the dreaded Katy Perry. Waking up in Vegas. -_-
So I build a Las Vegas chapel, went on a pose hunt, dress my models, and got it all set up. The clothes for Maggie were from a gift/set I got recently. Totally fit her. The rest of the outfits were easy choices. Also cool simming cameo if you've been reading this blog for awhile, my sim Mikey is in the back. :P I thought he seemed like the perfect friend for Arnie. I did have a slight mess up with the feet of Mikey and the sim next to him, but I covered it up with a flower petal. :P Then guy way in the back is suppose to be Elvis impersonator just in case you didn't notice. ;) As for the setting, which was the most challenging part, I used Showtime props and improvised to make it look like a cheesy Vegas chapel. I stuck a sign in the back that said Vegas chapel, but you can't see it. Still I think I did pretty good. :)
As for the next assignment, I'm completely stumped. I need to think of something for the honeymoon. D:
